Are you having a party after the ceremony?  Most families do as this is definitely an occasion to celebrate!  If you are going to throw a great party, whether big or small, you are going to need First Communion Party Supplies!  Make your party a memorable one!

What are some of the things you will need?  There are so many things to choose from.  Here are some ideas to get your creative juices flowing.  Remember, this is a religious celebration, but it is also a party!  Have fun with the reason for the celebration in mind.  Yes, you can do both.  Religious life should be celebrated as it is a great foundation for any life, especially a young one.

Some of the First Communion Party Supplies you will need include:

• A First Communion cake.  This is obvious.  But it will need to be decorated with a communion theme.  There are many First Communion cake toppers that will help to make this easy.  If you want to order a cake from your local bakery, you can order a cake topper and have them decorate the edges only.  Or add a name in a corner.  Another option, if they don't have the toppers, is to have them decorate it with a cross and a message. 
• A First Communion Banner.  Let everyone know where the party is.  The child celebrating his or her special day will feel like a million bucks when they see a banner in front of the party location. 
  
• First Communion Favors.  You will need all of the little things that make a party look like a party!  Little treats, party favors, decorations and more.  Be creative!
• First Communion Gifts.  Whether you are invited guest or the parent of the child being celebrated, you will need a gift!  They have done what they needed to do to get this far, show your pride and support.
• A pinata.  Although this is traditionally something that would be done in a hispanic home, it does not matter what ethnicity you are.  Everyone loves a pinata! Get one and let the kids enjoy it.  I have not been able to find a cross pinata just yet, but when I do, I will list it here for you.
